FALAN POTATO plays an important role in the transport of assimilates and nutrients. The photosynthesis products (photosynthates) must be transported from the leaves (sources) to the site of their use or storage (sinks). It promotes phloem transport of photosynthates (mainly sucrose and aminoacids) to the physiological sinks the tubers . FALAN POTATO is an effective formulation for potato cultivation during its tuber bulking stage to senescence . It provides an important function to increase quality and yield of tuber, control the plant water status, maintaining specific gravity in tuber, increase dry mater content. FALAN POTATO activates essential plant enzyme systems, helps in photosynthesis, promotes water uptakes and starch synthesis in plants and maintain the cell turgidity and opening of leaf stomata in potato plants. The synthesis of proteins facilitate due to application of FALAN POTATO. It also helps in transport of sugars, stomata control, reduces susceptibility to plant disease. The potato tuber size, dry matter percentage , percentage of starch content, percentage of protein content increased when it is applied in the potato field. FALAN POTATO enhances storage and shipping quality of potatoes, and also extends their shelf life . The effects on shelf life are dominantly favorable, both through slowing of senescence and through a decrease of numerous physiological diseases, its application reduces storage losses of tubers. FALAN POTATO exerts its greatest effects on disease through specific metabolic functions that alter compatibility relationships of the host-parasite environment. It increases the production of disease inhibitory compounds, such as phenols, phytoalexins and auxins around infection sites of plants.

Dosage: Spray 2ml per liter of water from 7 weeks of planting at the interval of 15 days. 2 to 4 number of application required starting from 1 st inflorescence emergence. Weekly preventive
sprays recommended when risk of frost.
