UMAANG
UMAANG is one of the end products of the biological decay of organic matter, possessing great resistance to further decomposition. It acts as a natural chelating agent, and due to its high cation exchange capacity, UMAANG absorbs essential plant nutrients from the soil and releases them in an available form for plants.
Description
UMAANG is a black or very dark brown, high-molecular weight organic polymer, formulated as liquid organic manure. It is derived from decayed organic matter through a long and continuous process of decomposition, resulting in a highly stable and humified form. This humified liquid organic manure not only enriches soil fertility but also improves its structure, water retention, aeration, and nutrient availability, ultimately supporting healthy and sustainable plant growth.
Benefits of UMAANG for Plants & Soil
- increase the soil fertility
- neutralize toxicity in soil and plants
- increases microbial and mycorrizal activity in soil
- promotes nutrient uptake
- accelerates seed germination
- increase crop yields
- suppress disease, heat stress and frost damage
- helps to recover the water and nutrient stress condition of plants
- induces the self-resistance mechanisms in plants
Application Rates
Soil amendment and Fertigation:
@ 1.5ltrs per acre in paddy, wheat, maize, barley, mustard, soybeans, all vegetables, all seed crops, all flowers, vines, cole crops, melons, tomatoes, peppers, brinjal, chilies, spices , medicinal plants etc.
@3.0ltrs per acre in high nutrient consuming crops like potato, banana, maize etc., and for horticultural trees, tea and coffee plantations
Foliar spray 2ml./ltr of water
Recommended Use
UMAANG can be applied as foliar spray with liquid carrier or sprayed on dry buffer and mix it with the soil at the time of land preparation, manuring, plantation or any time during crop growth.
