FALAN POTATO EXPERT
FALAN POTATO is a specialized formulation designed to enhance nutrient transport, tuber development, and overall potato crop productivity. By promoting efficient phloem transport of photosynthates, it supports starch synthesis, protein formation, and better water regulation in potato plants. Its application improves tuber quality, storage life, and resistance to stress, ensuring higher yield and superior marketable produce for sustainable potato cultivation.
Description
FALAN POTATO EXPERT is formulated using moderately transformed hardwood ash, dissolved in a Multi-Utility Solvent (M.U.S) base developed through Indigenous Technical Knowledge (ITK). This unique composition provides essential mineral elements that activate critical enzyme systems and metabolic functions within potato plants. By improving phloem transport of photosynthates—such as sucrose and amino acids—from leaves to tubers, it enhances dry matter accumulation, starch and protein synthesis, and specific gravity in tubers. FALAN POTATO EXPERT also facilitates stomatal regulation, water uptake, and cell turgidity, optimizing photosynthesis and overall plant metabolism. Its bioactive compounds strengthen natural resistance mechanisms by stimulating the production of phenols, phytoalexins, and auxins, thereby reducing disease incidence, mechanical damage, and storage losses while improving tuber quality and extending shelf life.
Benefits of Using FALAN POTATO EXPERT :
- Increases tuber size, yield, and marketable produce
- Enhances dry matter, starch, and protein content
- Improves chips color and tuber quality
- Extends shelf life and reduces storage losses
- Builds resistance to frost, drought, and late blight
- Reduces internal blackening, hollow heart, and mechanical damage
- Improves nitrogen-use efficiency and overall crop health
Application Rates
- Foliar spray: 2ml per liter of water
- Apply from 7 weeks after planting at 15-days intervals
- 2–4 applications recommended starting from first inflorescence emergence
- Weekly preventive sprays suggested under frost risk conditions
